Go as per your normal diet and add more greens in your diet to make up for folic acid. No need to take any other supplements except what your doctor has prescribed. If you are vegetarian or non-vegetarian, stick to what you prefer having. I personally can attest that all Indian do's and don'ts during this time are myths.Just consult your doctor even if it for diet.

Please do not follow anything or any specific diet without professional health consultation.

Pregnent women should take milk, dairy products ,green vegetables, nuts,dry fruits , fruits and lots of water .

If you are a non vegetarian fish ,eggs and meat can be included in your diet.

There is a long list but consult your doctor. They will tell you better according to deficiency diagnosed but fruits and fruit juices are safe for everyone if you do not suffer from diabetes.

I think every pregnant women must include variety of food sp that they get adequate amount of proteins, carbohydrates, fats vitamins and minerals. If they limit eating certain food, there is high risk of developing nutritional deficiencies. Hence they should include all leafy vegetables, fruits, beans, fish, meat, milk, nuts, and adequate amount of water.

Enriched Whole- grain breads and cereals are fortified with Folic acid to protect against birth defects in the bay as well as more Iron to help red blood cells carry oxygen to the baby.Oatmeal for breakfast . A sandwich on whole grain at lunch and whole wheat pasta or brown rice for dinner are ideal food for a pregnant women.

now i got complete idea about the pregnancy diet as i am pregnant.

 

We should have

Oat meal, Less sweet fruits ( Pomagranate, orange, mosambar, kevi, avakada) Vegetables ( Barbati, ridge guard, tomato, green leafy vegetables like totakura, spinach, carrot, beetroot, parvels, coriander or cilantro)

Non veg: Egg, fish (small river fish), normal fish, meat, chicken

Milk, dry dates ( Good for free delivery)

Pomagranate directly enters blood and improves blood content

orange and mosambar reduces constipation problems

Badam - Makes baby strong

Milk - improves calcium.

Water - to protect body from dehydration
