Google is all set to compete with the other social networking sites like facebook, orkut , twitter etc. Google wants to be the best in all fields on internet. Google is going to add some new features to gmail which will make it more social and easy to interact with other people.Google may be aiming to make gmail into a social networking site or even launch a another social networking site.

Gmail is first of all going to add new features like status updates to gmail by which one would be able to share the things with friends and also able to share web content links.

Google search engine is the top site with million of visitors but in social networking sites facebook is becoming the best and its users are increasing day by day . May be google is jealous seeing the number of visitors facebook is getting and going on adding new features which may have motivated google to come out with new ideas and make gmail more social and interacting.

In the future google may try to add new unique features or may also come up with new social networking site of its own . This may boost the IT industry and there may be entrance of new companies in the IT world.
