'Anjaana Anjaani ki Kahani':
Coming to the title track  'Anjaana Anjaani ki Kahani' is sung by Monali Thakur, Nikhil D'Souza. There isn't much to boast of in terms of music. The club song must have been better though it tries to impress the listeners by its jazzy feel I am not impressed by it inspite of listening to the song .Its life period is only until the promo. The song picturised in a club on Priyanka chopra, Ranbir Kapoor has some impressive dance steps though ( Rating 2 out of 5)
'Hairat'
While the title track is a complete let down the song ,'Hairat' completely takes over your mind. It may be due to the voice of Lucky Ali who is working very selectively . It seems the best of his voice is kept for Ranbir. Like he has sung earlier for Ranbir the sound track 'Ahista Ahista' in Bachna Ae Haseeno'. The track has an instant connect and the feel is left with you even after the song is over. It leaves you wanting more of Lucky Ali.( Rating 5 out of 5)
'Aas Paas Khuda'
Coming to 'Aas Paas Khuda' , sung by Rahat Fateh Ali khan starts on a note similar to Aji Din chadeya from Love Aaj Kal. The song has a sufiana feel and is quite good. What has particularly impressed is music of the stanzas. It impresses in parts.( Rating 3 out of 5)
'Tumse Hi Tumse'
'Tumse Hi Tumse' sung by Shekhar Ravjiani, Caralisa Monteiro is the underrated song. It has a good feel throughout the song and the song is somewhat similar to 'Jaane Kyun' from Dostana. This song shows how they can create three versions using the same feel 'Jaane Kyun' from Dostana , 'Jab mila Tu' from IHLS and 'Tumse Hi Tumse'( Rating 3.5 out of 5)
Tujhe Bhula Diya'
'Tujhe Bhula Diya' is perhaps the second best remembered of the songs next to 'Hairat'. Sung by Mohit Chauhan, Shekhar Ravjiani and Shruti Pathak the song will be a block buster along with 'Hairat'.( Rating 4 out of 5)
'I Feel Good'
'I Feel Good' feels like an English song out of an English Album. It is not bad but is not worth remembering either.( Rating 2.5 out of 5)
'Anjaana Anjaani'
'Anjaana Anjaani' by Vishal Dadlani and Shilpa Rao is quiet good but it doesn't sound unique. It sounds similar to other tracks and may not stand out.( Rating 2.5 out of 5)
'Tujhe Bhula Diya - Remix'
Tujhe Bhula Diya - Remix' is also quiet good. It retains the original and doesn't lose its flavour. However the original is too good that it doesnt stand out when compared to original.( Rating 3 out of 5)
'Aas Paas Khuda - Unplugged'
Shruti Pathak who is impressed in 'Tujhe Bhula Diya ' returns with 'Aas Paas Khuda - Unplugged' along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It sounds more like 'Bin Tere' from IHLS. ( Rating 3 out of 5)
Final Verdict
Finally an impressive album from Vishal Shekhar. This is worth listening and am looking forward for the film excitedly. Considering its a road movie , the feel is peppy and after separation the feel is that of pain. The best tracks are 'Hairat', 'Tujhe Bhula Diya' and 'Tumse Hi Tumse'. Final rating for the album is 3.5 out of 5 stars
