Brilliant! the performance was the actor who is playin the eccentric scientist deserves sepcial mention..too good!...the concept and platform in fringe is really hard hitting and engaging...the kind of experiments and scientific investigations are just out of the world!..

The Hills Run Red (2009)
Poor acting and a bad start to the movie. The story, the acting and the GORE all get better in the second half. Its a one time watch for horror movie fans.

The Thing - 1982
The Thing is about a group of scientists in Antarctica confronted by a shape shifter that takes the shape of ppl that it kills, it stars Kurt Russell.
I once read this novel by Stephen King - "IT" which was creepy and the cause of menace even though was only a clown but the atmosphere and the ambiance was horrific, it used to send me chills down my spine. The Thing was similar, its atmosphere is quite scary.
What i liked most was not the menace caused by the shape shifter but the study of human nature when subjected to chaos, it was more terrifying than the shape shifter itself. Ad plz dont say after watching it that it was too dramatic or slow, its complete and utter bullshit, no offence. Highly highly recommended though.

Watchmen-
- I tried watching the movie again and yet I found it quite unconvincing. The plot misses the trick I guess by being slow paced and having to deal with so many characters.My fav superhero is Batman not because of Nolan treatment and all but because the character sketch of batman is so human like- a general person with will power and technical wizardry fighting crime can never be unconvincing.
wat to say abt this movie. I saw a 7.4 rating in imdb and went for it.
The intial 30mins was promising but later it began to drag. And also the overall treatment,like the alternate 1985s,the comedian(unsuccessfull attempt for a Joker there) character killing so many people,and too many violnce afffects badly on the feel of the story.
The only thing wher it makes a differrrence is the climax,but even then it lacks the pace and mood of the film.
anways I watched another movie today called the lola rennt or Run Lola Run.
It is very much watchable. The plot is quite simple but shown in 3 different perspectives each with a different ending. An extraordinary treatment of a simple story is the USP of this movie.
Rating: 8/10
Verdict: Watch it!!

Nothing new...JWM-LAK-Namaste London-Singh is King-and a lot of other movies have the same plot(storyline)...............
He loves She.....But She loves another person which our hero realizes after a long way into the film.....He breaks down......An emotional song.....She realizes that actually she is in love with our hero.....And a stupidest climax in this case/movie...(Jesus Christ !!!)
Ranbir Kapoor rocked with his comic timing.......Songs are good....Even Salman shined in his small appearance.....Kat was not at her best.....
Almost 90% of jokes are taken from various other movies just like what Priyadarsan does......

The Graduate - 1967
(500) Days of Summer compelled me to watch this film. And i am still shocked at how horrifyingly wrong everyone was in this film, this film wasn't even about love, maybe a rebellious and impulsive kind of a love but that's always destructive. Dustin Hoffman's character was so sweet, so infantile and yet he was able to pull of things that even a normal person would think 100 times before doing it, i loved his character and hated him at the same time.
The movies starts with Hoffman coming off college scene(which he isnt interested), where Mrs Robinson(forgot her name) asks for a ride home, and then things start to change from then.
Its a pretty cool movie. comes under the genre of Drama/romance/comedy.
So for all those who are in to this genre can try it once.
Mike Nichols always amaze me with his work Angels in America, Closure, Charlie Wilson's war and now this The Graduate. Amazing film if interpreted correctly.

Starship Troopers (1997), a sci-fi military film. From the director who made films like Total Recall and Basic Instincts, this film is basically a part brainless, part propaganda, part splatter, part etc etc kind of a film which does not require you to use much of your brain. Critics generally gave it positive reviews and since it's only a 2 hour film, you won't mind watching the 23rd century soldiers knocking the shit out of the aliens of some goddamned planet that automatically became smart by "sucking the brains out" of one of the soldiers.

Its a story of a man( Tom Hanks) fired by a conservative law firm due to his condition ( AIDS)
Tom Hanks won an Oscar for his performance so theres no point gloating about how good he was. Other than that i found it to be over the top sometimes, exaggeratively sensationalizing the matter was a bit annoying. It could've been done a bit subtly.
I like Opera, i don't listen to it very often but i like it, so for that matters i loved that scene where Tom Hanks was explaining the opera, it was enacted beautifully.
Average movie with good performances.
