Furthermore, as in any rain forest, deforestation is a major threat. In eastern Madagascar is only about 8.5% of the original forest. It is one of the most unique and valuable areas in the world so it is absolutely necessary protection.

..:: Example:

An example of heritage that has been affected by climate change and also in the future is influenced Venice and the lagoon, situated in northern Italy on the Adriatic Sea. Venice is an architectural masterpiece with extraordinary art that must be protected and preserved. By the subsidence of the land, the city has sunk 10 cm. This process was further strengthened by the industrial water from deep aquifers began to pump. Now the city drops even faster with 10-13 cm per year. Pumping has been stopped since the year 1970, but damage has already been done. On the other hand, the sea water on the rise due to climate change. Venice is therefore more risk to flooding and also to sink into the ground. The government is now a resistance to the building which is closed when the water level rises too high. However, comprehensive and reliable preservation of Venice will always remain a challenge. Experts are still unsure about the fate Venice will take in the future.
