The Art Of Bluffing, Be Aware
Bluffing is a fine art of be-fooling someone by cheating or telling lies. Pretending about what is not true and boasting unreal facts is considered as a sign of bluffing and one who has become expert in this field is said to be a Bluff-master. The main motto of such impostors is to deceive others to get things done for them. Without caring for what they do or what harm they may cause, they are seen indulging in various activities that are unacceptable. For getting his wants fulfilled, he consolidates himself as boaster of his own merits though, his thoughts are not real, and happily throw dust in the eyes of common people, thus, disregarding their emotional stress which may result in physiological imbalance.
Such bluffing has been seen from earlier days, but gradually it has become more widespread in today's age and also its roots have become stronger. The cases of bluffing have so much increased that almost every day we come across with one such issue while reading newspaper or watching television. Recently, I was watching one such issue on TV. Teenage problems are commonly visible in these days. There was a college boy who was having unwanted relationship with a girl, both used to spend time with each other in nearby parks. Their friendship continued for three months and eventually, the girl fall in love with his mate. The girl wanted to marry with him and so, she fled with him without caring for her parents. Hardly one month had crossed; the boy left her and married someone else. Such intolerable bluff shocked her. Later on, she filed case against him but the judge gave verdict in favor of the boy. Though she came back to her parents but her name, her fame all got eroded. This is a type of bluff. People fall in the tricks of past-masters. With the time, such persons have become more subtle and powerful. It is a source of living of many experienced masters.
Bluffing has no range at all to finalize its outcome. It can be small or big. Small in the way, suppose, the children and boys when do not want to go to school bluff their parents by saying that they are having holiday on that day. Let's take another example, during conversations between friends, many times, we tell lies to them that I am having this or that thing however, we do not access it. This intention of be-fooling is domestically spread and has become common.But its quite acceptable in society. Bluffing is not an easy task. Good Intellectual thinking with proper knowledge is required to cheat any person and obtain profit from him. Successful bluffing requires idea, patience and courage at every point of time, without showing any humor. Also, these bluffers are always ready to face the outcome if caught red-handed.
You are unknown from the fact that someone is keeping an eye on your habits and daily routine and on getting one chance he will cheat you in seconds. A minor mistake of yours can turn into blessing for the shyster. The word-Bluff master itself gives a brief description on its nature, what type of creature he/she might be. No matter how rich or poor you are, the thing that matters most is your cautiousness on such people. The motto of bluffers can be different. Apart from earning profits, they may have another goal. The world is full of bluff masters and bluff mistress. Now a days, bluffers are seen mostly in roadways and airports. These places have been awarded as the perched locations. Actually, at airports, people come from different places. So, they are unknown about the taxi fares, people's way of living in that state, rules and regulations and the prices of goods and fodder. The driver can easily collect more cash from his actual cash memo. The hotel manager can collect more revenue and so the sellers. Being cautious is important in such situations. They can be fooled by anyone. And this situation gives shysters a chance to cheat the outsiders. Those who want benefit without losing anything are always looking for such people.
Bluffing is even seen indulged in by family members. Somewhere in paras, I had expressed how children bluff their parents. Let's move on to their parents. When housewives do not want to work they pretend to have headache. Though they are well yet they wait for other family members to do the same. Their headache persists as long as their task is not accomplished. Not only wives but husbands as well are seen indulged in bluffing their wives. Let me clear it with an example, a husband calls to his wife and tells her, “I will be late due to overwork in the office.” And so, he returns late to his home. In reality, the said lines may be told false. He might have lied to her and in the meantime, he went with his friends to play rummy or do party all night. Is it not bluffing?
What can be the outcome of such behavioral act? One favorable outcome is lockup of dangerous bluffers. But it's not going to stop them from doing crimes as they will be freed on bail. There can be a corrupt officer who would free him for getting his benefits. Another result can of an enforced missionary act where he will be caught by police forces. Indirectly, it is much difficult to catch them because we rarely able to realize if we have been bluffed by someone at the spot. And it does not take time for bluffers to flee from the town. The role of government is crucial in tackling such problems. They need to come with good assets and resources to reduce the act of bluffing. There is a need of awareness among the citizens, how they are be-fooled. Today, IT Sectors are playing important role in the development of our country. There are software which provides information about the mafias and their living sites. Putting cameras in big places, on streets etc helps us to keep eyes on bluffers and human activities. Among them, most important is our own cautiousness over unknown people. We must be vigilant and secured. Proper attention of investigators under the guidance of governmental laws and restrictions can overcome such problems.
