Brief Description of Current form :-

Man Utd :- After this international break, United will look to go on a winning streak in order to bag the cup four times in a row. It's a huge morale boost for United that Hargreaves and Park, both are set to make a comeback in the squad. Though Park is set to stage a comeback against Everton on Saturday, Hargreaves is said to be debuting on wednesday in the home clash against Besiktas JK. But the only thing which is worrying the united camp is the defense. Vidic has recovered from the injury so he will play for sure but Rio Ferdinand is still a major doubt with a furthermore concern that he might have to stay out for atleast a month for his treatment. So Evans will surely take up his place after the lad showed great piece of defending against Chelsea. Rest everyone is fit and fine and are ready to roar back to the top the premiership table. Though SAF has a touchline ban but still it won't make any difference to the team as we take on injury marred Everton. Nani and Evra both will have their morale boosted after their respective teams qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2010. Berbatov too will feel good after his brace against Malta on wednesday which made him the highest goal scorer in bulgarian football history. So United will look to take full advantage of the injury marred Everton team and try to win the match with a good goal difference in order to stay in contention of the title with Chelsea and Arsenal. So VDS can start again with Fabio, Vidic, Evans and Evra in defense, Valencia is in great form so he can start on the wings with Park on the other, Scholes and Fletcher can start in the middle while Berbatov and Rooney can start upfront, together making a good 4-4-2 formation for us. Owen, Giggs and Anderson can come up later as a sub. United will look forward for all 3 points and that too with a good goal difference.

Player to Watch Out For :- Dimitar Berbatov

Everton :- This team was all over the news with all that Lescott saga but clearly it has affected Everton very badly after Lescott went to Man City and with Jagielka injured their defense looks very shaky after the duo put some eye-catching performances in the previous season leading them to the 5th place of the premiership table last season. Though Everton boss Moyes made some recruits but so far they have failed to produce something good. Things went even worse for him after almost his full 1st team squad was injured and he was forced to play with the reserve players in big matches which eventually has resulted to their downfall in the Premiership rankings. With star players like Jagielka, Arteta, P Neville injured, Everton has some serious problem. The only good thing which has happened to Everton is the return of the former Man Utd striker Louis Saha who has been in brilliant form and is also responsible for all those success which came by Everton's way this season. But Saha picked up an injury against West Ham which ultimately led him to the substituition in the 57th minute of the match, he is a major doubt to play in this match and also the striker has failed to feature in any match against his former club as he missed out the previous clashes due to injuries too. Fellaini is in good touch too with Tim Cahill still posing a threat to the opposition. Tim Howard is a major doubt too after he picked up an injury in the match against West Ham, but still he is expected to come back for this match, so Howard can start with Distin, Yobo, Baines and Hibbert in defense, Cahill and Gosling can start on either wings with Fellaini, Heitinga and Rodwell in the middle and Yakubu playing as a lone striker upfront, making a good 4-5-1 formation for them. Saha & Jo can come up later as subs as Everton will look forward to break into the top 10 by the end of this gameweek.

Player to Watch Out For :- Tim Cahill

good to see a match thread now.!!

Just a correction Ronnie, saw it at 'Today @ Old Trafford' at the official site.

Though SAF has a touchline ban but still it won't make any difference to the team as we take on injury marred Everton

Actually, Sir Alex will be in the dugout for this one because he still has 14 days to respond to the charge. Although he admitted he wont appeal against it, it still stands. So SAF misses Pompey(League) and Spurs(Carling Cup).

Everton with their playing 11 out injured , i guess we will have to fight it with their second string team then .The match will be decided in the midfield . Hopefully we get 2or 3 past them .and keep a clean sheet .

SAF not on the sidelines would not be a problem at all.

2-o united.....
rooney and owen to score.....
GGMU....!!!!!!!!

Finally The EPL is Back
Its Time Now that WE Click into Gear since all the International Fixtures are over..
Atleast for a Few Months..

I Hope Owen Will start this one..Everton May have a few Injury Problems.. but they are still a very dangerous side.
Anyways Cant Watch this one cause of Exams..
Hope we Win 3-0 with Rooney and Owen to Score..keeping in mind the everton injury list,4-0 will not to hard to achieve
hope to see rooney get into the scoring form again
and to start a unbeatean run
It's so boring in these international breaks.........
Thank god they r over!!!!!!
Great work again Ronnie......
I'll go with the same startin lineup as Ronnie, except maybe Oshea, Brown or even Rafael instead of fabio......
Rooney & Berba to score a brace each.
Sending the right message to the rivals by crushing Everton.
BTW is Rafael fit, Ronnie???????
GGMU
here is an interesting stat;
yeah, everton have always been a tough opponent, but this time they don't have lescott at CB and they are in poor form, so i expect utd to have it relatively easier, 2-0 win is my prediction, i hope rooney does not kiss his badge in front of the merseysiders this time
manutd have played all the current top 10 teams in the epl[except aston villa]
no no u c the point in playing two strikers is that while one of them pulls the defenders towards him the other one is left relatively free but berba doesn't seem to be doing tht much. But it's not his fault his style is such that he is more effective when paases r played to him while he is in the box, so i think we shud further develop this single striker formation
yes if we had another striker like et'o or even villa at our disposal then 2 striker formation wud be deadly
4-4-1-1 is the best formation for United. Berba to play just behind Rooney to hold the defence and supply passes to Rooney to work with.
Hargo (when fit) and Fletch can supply nicely from the centre.....and Valencia's crosses are looking better with every passing match !!
Macheda played really well against CSKA at home. Wont be a bad idea to play him at times with either of Berba or Rooney up front.

I somehow feel, this Everton game, would be Nani's !! :)
if u have observes SAF's tactics closely over the past games.....giggs has been shifted to a central position...feeding the strikers......but unlike the attacing midfielders ....he tends to feed other midfielders he is not so good when it comes to taking on defenders.....he has lost his lethal speed......n scholes isn't getting younger......so in that formation wid berba as a supporting striker.....it wudn't be a great idea leaving rooney as a sole striker.....berba will be sinply wasted

Rio Ferdinand not be able to play again in 2009
As Per the TIMES OF INDIA --

Manchester United centre back RIO FERDINAND will not be able to play this year and has been informded that he needs another six weeks of rest and physio work before his back will be strong enough for PREMIER LEAGUE football.

Ferdinand 31, had been playing with back problems since last season, leading to a calf injury this term. After a series of poor displays he decided to get the problem sorted out for good. Rio had hoped to be back by the start of December, but by the time he plays again, he will have missed at least 15 Matches

One theory being looked into now is that he might need his hip realigned. If the hip is slightly out it will lead to strain on other parts of the body, including his back

Ferdinand's last game for United came in the 2-0 defeat at Liverpool on October 25 when he was out-run and out-muscled be FERNANDO TORRES for the opening goal.

GLORY GLORY MAN UTD

Might be a close game
everything is going wrong for united ,....just imagine THE BASTARDS FA has arranged a home fixture for Chelshit against lower wolfvertom(dont know the exact name) which might take them 8 points clear of united...i feel bashing the fa head....now the problem for united is that evans is out, neville showed an stupendous performance against cska..
but hope vidic will cover the defence...nani should be played in this match and so is valencia but i think ji sung might get a chance

goal scoring is a problem ... we are winning 1-0,2-1, and maximum 2-0,,,last time we won a big margin was against wigan....also united should pass the ball in midfield rather than laying off to wingers...BUT PLZ VIDIC BECAREFULL OF LUIS SAHA >..he is in hot form...

i dont think rooney and bervatov will be scoring in this match

rooney:everton has edge over rooney they frustrate him

bervatov... he is fast as a snail...he is not physically strong he will be checked by faillani and yobo.....

it will be a low scoring game may be

with ferguson putting up a dull lineup regularly i will go for a

1-0 win .....Valencia scoring
and our coming fixtures are easy one.
I'd want to see VENGEANCE !!
a big big win for United.....to see the injury-marred Everton off !!
A 3-0 or 4-0 score-line would make me happy.
Berba NEEDS to convert his performance into goals now. Rooney to get a brace. And maybe a Valencia or a Nani (would love to see him score) to get the win !!
I will go for 3-0 victory considering Everton's injury problems..
Vida and Evans pair themselves to combine with O'shea and Evra for the back four.
Valencia and Nani on the wings.Hoping Nani does something special as he was good in his International fixture..Scholes and Fletch in the mid-field.Rooney and Berba up top...
Berba should keep his scoring run going..Hope United starts a winning run from here

Rooney Berbatov and Nani on the scoresheet
the next 10 fixtures of mautd are with teams out of top 10[except aston villa and burnley-10 th]
EVERYONE has injuries except our team.. chelsea heads the list with lampard, drogba, ballack, terry, cole out ..... and arsenal too and liverpool(even the manager is injured ) too.. hope this will be our turning point . time to step up the gear.. heads out ... we can go a unbeaten streak better assnel 49... wayne rooney will go score a hat trick in this game
----------------------------------Van Der Sar-------------------------

-----Evra-------------Evans----------------Brown------------O'Shea-------------

-----Giggs------------Carrick--------------Anderson------------Valencia--------

----------------------------Berbatov----------Rooney------------------------------

I think Sir Alex may be tempted to start again with Brown-Evans partnership.Vidic although available may be restricted to the bench and be given a substitute appearance.
Evra also might be taken off for young Fabio.Giggs should be starting this one surely,Anderson to do all the tracking back and running all around with Carrick to srap balls to everyone.Valencia as usual will provide crosses from the right.

Berbatov is in red hot form, He has scored 48 goals for his country and is the country's highest goalscorer aging 28 years.I just have a doubt that Sir Alex may opt for Owen rather Rooney but still the odds are better for Rooney to start with the last 10-20 minutes for Owen.

so cheers and its time to enjoy
hopefully we dont do a burnley again
