It was a pre quarter final match of Novak Djokovic the No.4 seed for US Open in 2009.The whole center court was knowing that Novak Djokovic will be advancing to the next level and the same happened.
he beated his opponent very easily in straight sets and as each and every player does after the win,he signed some of the autographs and aplouding the audience,but sooner the twist of the day came.John who was doing the commentary for this match was making having fun with his collague about Djokovic's win and in reply when the friend commentator asked Djokovic about the fun then he simply asked John to come down and play with him for a point.
Both of them were having an great exchange of words but that was with some happy gesture on the ace of each of them.Both were like enjoying the conversation,but when Djokovic challenged John than John toom the challenge and came down from the commentary box few minutes later with a Tennis racket to play against the world No 4.
Both had a hand shake and audience again applauded John's heroic behaviour against the acceptance of the challenge and then John served Djokovic and beated him for a simple point and audience enjoyed that moment.
John and Djokovic both had won a lot of hearts as john made his challenge complete winning a point against Djokovic and Djokovic let John win that point by not playing at his level best and returning very loose handedly to john's serve.
Audience even reviewed Djokovic's this behaviour as more important than winning he Grand Slam is winning heart and respect from Senior players and thats what Djokovic has done.
