Kullu valley, is known as the valley of Gods. Kullu is located on the banks of the Beas River. Kullu valley is formed by Beas River between Manali and Larig. Kullu valley is known for beautiful and grandiose hills. Pine and Deodar forests, enhanced beauty of  kullu’s hills.

Bus services are available from Chandigarh. By road kullu is 233km from Chandigarh. Chandigarh is 248 kilometer from Delhi. It is best to have the one night halt at Chandigarh. 

Railway 

Kullu is not connected with rail. Nearest railway station is Chandigarh. 

Manali  

Manali is another famous and beautiful hill station of Himachal Pradesh. It is just 40 Km away from Kullu. It is believed that, after great flood, Manali is the place where the box of saint Manu found. Manali means the residence of Manu. Manali is located at the end most National Highway that leads to Leh. This hill station is always first choice of visitors. Manali is also a much loved place for newly married couple for honeymoon. 

You can see on one side snowcapped peaks, the Beas River with its clear water, twirling through the town and on the other side deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards.

Reaching Shimla by rail is also very convenient and interesting . Narrow gauge (Toy train) train between Kalka and Shimla is available. Shimla has three railway station, Shimla, summer hill and totu. 

Road 

Access to Shimla by road is made possible by the efficient network of roadways and National Highway 22 that connects with Chandigarh. Buses from Chandigarh are available round the clock. Private taxis are also available from Chandigarh. The transport system within the town is also good and bus or private vehicles travel from one part of the town to another.
