I feel that the law relating to indecent display is also gender discriminatory. The law is only about indecent exposure of women but nothing about men. Is there everything decent about men?

    That sure is an important point as I can see women today as aggressive or more or not behind men in any fields. I read women committing crimes in almost every field. Therefore, the one found guilty should be punished irrespective of gender.

    I agree. But the issue raised is a bit different. If you send indecent image of woman, you are punished. But there is no punishment if you send an indecent image of a boy or man. The law is limited to indecent exposure of women only. Any indecent exposure- of men as well women should be punishable.

    Equality before law is there in our Constitution. It depends on people whether they will file up a case for justice or not.

    The law is on 'indecent exposure of women'.. why should 'indecent exposure of men' also not be punishable. There is equality before law according to constitution but the law on indecent exposure is gender specific. Possible, male nudity is not considered indecent.
