Definition of Luxury is quite hard to define. For some Luxury as always associated with Money. But there are Luxuries which are not related to Money.

Your link properly define the meaning of luxury. For Luxurious life a man must have proper time for relaxing without any disturbance. He must need to take proper sleep and he free to take their own decision. That all makes a luxury life. Even a people who does not have much money, they can accept all these thing.

Having plenty of time in hand  or Having enough sleep are also Luxuries. The difference is how effectively we utilize these luxuries makes a big difference.

In modern day " The Luxury " Means according to people is that having a lots of money. In race of earning more and more money they forget to utilize these thing in their life properly. Its make a Difference.

For some Luxury means having Villas, Modern cars so on. But for some Luxury is that which enables you to have a life sans Health problems.  For such people "Health is Wealth."It varies from person to person. Moreover, my post clearly says that these Luxuries are not associated with Money.

 

Yes it varies from person to person. According to me luxury means spent my time with my friends and live freely without any disturbance.

Luxury, though it is related to something expensive, it also refers to those which give you a great comfort and joy. To experience it, you need a peaceful mind. When the mind is peaceful and you have the Freedom to enjoy every moment, your whole life will become a luxury.

Very true. There is nothing like possessing a peaceful mind. There is no luxury superior than a life sans ailments.

 

Generally, we relate luxury to money which is common measure for all things.  So possessing and using things that are costly and hard to buy are termed luxury. Luxury also means thjings that we can do without unlike necessaries of life that we must get even by borrowing.  The link defines luxury in non financial terms. so being lucky in any respect is luxury. You get a sound sleep. This is luxury. You have good health. This is luxury. You have plenty of time at your disposal. This is luxury.  You have more freedom to act as you like. This is luxury.   In short anything that you have worth envy by others is luxury.  Thius Onida TV- Owners pride, neigbor;s envy- is luxury.
