    Because there was no painting involved, it has come for a less price. This kind of Saree where lot of Painting work is involved will not be  be available for a less price.

    Sarees are printed and not hand painted, so no matter how much of painting work there is, it will be done by the machine. Hand made kalmkari is now relegated to paintings and a few designer sarees if at all...
