Yes, boat race is very famous.....particularly Aranmula Nehru Trophy Boat race started in 60's. It was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and still now, it's the highlight of Onam Celebrations.
Not only Nehru Trophy, many other boat races are also there

Don't worry friends of boddunan ,Let sandhya back and arrange a party with some onam special.

We will eagerly awaiting the same ram. Where is the Party?

today our Onam celebrations end......
It was inaugurated a week before at Capital city by our Chief Minister and was very grand....each and every building of the main roads of the city were decorated by lights...many live concerts and special swings...everywhere in kanaka kunnu palace.....flower exhibitions, melas.....
I have already prepared an article and will submit it soon about Onam celebrations 2012.

Today, it's grand celebrations in the capital city and I missed it.
Day before yesterday, I missed Kaduvakali (Tiger play) of Thrissur too as i was not here :( :( :(
So, double miss :huh:
I really missed at least 1000 tigers from cultural capital of kerala, Thrissur :laugh: :laugh:
