Leh- The capital of Ladakh
Leh is the beautiful tourist destination situated in the Himalayan Region. It is situated on the bank of river Indus. Tourist enjoy their every moment of life while visit to these beautiful Tibetan architectural world. It is the capital of Ladakh and lies in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It has harsh climate. The winter is very cold and summer is not so hot. The rainfall here is very low. The people here are mostly depending on agriculture. Barley is the main crop grown in this region. many handicrafts items are sold in the local markets and they are of great demand for the tourist. People here are very free. The place is famous for its monastries. People here enjoy both veg and non-veg food. However, most famous are momos, tsampa, butter tea, cholak, pava, mok mok, khambir, thukpa and skyu. A very good view of Indus valley could be seen here.
