How to prepare a good resume
Life of a person is fulfilled only when he or she has a good job. A decent job is the need of the hour. The job that we have to perform is always what we decide. To get a good job we have to prepare a good resume. Resumes are what make the first impression for the people at the compant. They look into the resume first before going in person and with other procedures and tests. When attending an interview we need to submit our resume first. So let us get to know how to prepare a good resume with all standard qualities.
A resume typically consists of the following sections: objective, personal information , educational information , projects, experience. First three sections are mandatry to be present. Last two sections are not compulsary. Objective is the most important section in a resume. It is an introduction about the person. It has to be very short and a bit attractive. The quality of english in the objective will decide the quality of our resume. So be very careful in writing the objective. just make it hundred words.
So when mentioning the objective we must mention the position that we wanted and the area we are interested to be placed. So we must be very careful in writing an objective. When the objective is not very impressive the resue might get rejected. The next section is personal information. It includes name, address , phone number , nationality , languages known , marital status , gender. Do not write any other personal information lile name of parents. It is not compulsary to write personal information. They do not bother about personal information other than the contact information. Do check the information several times before making the final copy to be submitted.
Next section is about the educational information right from the school time. Start at the school time till the post graduation summarize all the details. the details include the institution of graduation, the percentage that was obtained and other standard informations. All these are must in the educational information section. The next heading must include all the projects that were completed during the school time, college time. The languages known, co-curricular activities that were performed, awards that were recieved as appreciation, workshops attended, competitions that were participated and won. All these details must be genuine and true. If there are many projects that were completed during college then you can specify more important ones and the ones that suit the need of the company.
When talking about the experience field then it does not apply for freshers. They can skip this column. Only people who are applying for other companies will have to use the experience column.
