* The above was made by simply keeping the top part, and duplicating the top part.

* Use the transform tool and click flip vertically.

* You make the changes individually for both images and after everything is completed and you are satisfied with final image, copy merges and paste in new layer.

Effects:

I dont remember the steps but i used,

# Filter galley > artistic brushes

# Filter galley > ocean ripple.

# Filter> stylize> solarise

#gradient brownand white colored (diamond form) for the merged image. etc.

The above is made by blending the image on top with another image using 'apply image' in Image menu.
