i heard a lot about this one......even had it.....never bothrd to watch it
well finally it was airing on HBO , so saw it.......

DAMN i hate myself so much to nt c this movie evn fter having it in hd....

what an amazing movie........i guess when u throw in Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson together in a drama.....which has an amazing plot.....u get a master piece.
i am inspired through this movie.......

both the actors gave a fine performance.........specially freeman. OUTSTANDING.

i think the movie is as much as serious as dumb and silly at times

there is soo much chemistry between the two...
i even cried in the end....u actually feel the pain jack goes through.
it has some brilliant quotes too

12 Angry Men

I dont know y had i downloaded this movie.......i dont know y did i watch this movie........its in my hard disk since few months and finally i watched it yesterday......wat an amazing movie.....its simply great.......it was the first black & white movie i watched...he whole movie takes place in a single room itself....but it hasn't bored a bit.....HATS OFF to the director and the crew.......its a perfect courtroom drama......8.9/10

Wake of death

this is an underated peice of gem!! fantastic performance by jean claude van damme...no he has not used his feet like his other movie..but terrefic expressions..this is a must watch...this movie has got a blend of action,emotion and drama...van damme speaks with his eyes...its easily one of his best...probably THE BEST acting wise...bloody brilliant!!!

The Fall (2006)

Splendid movie..this movie is a visual treat to the eyes..just beautiful..apparently no CG special effects were used whatsoever..everything is natural.. just unbelievable.. and the little (4 or 5 year old) girl is truly wonderful..she's gonna stay in ur mind for some time for sure..how come such an awesome movie went unnoticed, i wonder!

To kill a mocking bird

BEA-U-Tiful..

i was watching capote when the name of this novel popped up, as one of the characters in that movie was harper lee, and since then i somehow felt an urge to watch this one..
Adapted from the novel of the same name, which is perhaps one of the most loved novels ever, to kill a mocking bird is a story of a family in a small town in USA. th backdrop is around mid 1930s and everything looked so simple back then, uncorrupted and serene..

Atticus(played by gregory peck), who is an idealistic lawyer,is out to defend a black man charged with the crime of raping a white woman. And the other people in his family are these two lovely little kids scout and jem who just tend to take you back to your own childhood every time they appear on screen.

i have not seen many black and white movies but this one just looked so pretty that i couldnot take my eyes off, i can now feel why some movie buffs swear by the class of classics. though it was adapted, at no point did the movie disappoint like the modern day adapted versions(read da vinci code et al..).. the screenplay, the direction and the cinematography was very good and these shall be my takeawyas from the movie..

walled in

well well...after reading the synopsis of the plot i had lots of expectations from this movie..thot it wud be something like" killing ppl by stuufing them into walls" and that kinda stuff.
LARGELY DISAPPOINTED!!! this movie is no horror...u vl never have that horror feeling...thre is a few suspenseful scenes and one or two thrills but thats it...its majorly disppointing...the idea concept was good but the treatment adn execution was not upto the mark...well i will not say its a bad film...but do not watch this with too much expectations...

few days back i saw the painted veil and 21 grams. as a result i became an instant fan of naomi watts.. a lil research and i came across this movie, mullohlan, dr.

a decent movie which would make one Think what the movie is all about. the end was such that there can be multiple interpretations. was a good watch and most importantly i like naomi even more now

butch cassidy and the sundance kid

story about two train robbers. both of them are so different but both seek nirvana through robbing trains

paul newman is the one who plans, and like most planners talks a lot. in one scene he says" i have got vision, rest of them have bifocal lenses" is the way most CEOs work i presume robert redford on the other hand is THE SUNDANCE KID who is king when has got a loaded gun in his hand. in the opening scene where he demonstrates his skills is something i can never forget.

and that song .. raindrops are falling in my head.. uff

overall a wonderful watch..

synecdoche new york

i saw it with a lot of eagerness but it some how dint make me go WOW..its about a director who decides to make a play on his own self, as honestly as possible. he kinda recreates the new york around him and recruits actors who resemble people in his real life..good effort by charlie kauffman and perhaps people who UNDerstand ART might be able to apreciate it much better.. and the more i think about it, the more i find it was a boring movie

philip seymour hoffman was good as usual.. and those who want to get a taste of this guys acting, find a video of the original Truman Capote and then watch CAPOTE. one mindblowing peice of acting in a movie..

Sweet movie though very very emotional in de end. The human dog relationship always makes anyone cry!Real good drama movie.N yea Jeniffer Aniston is also the one person one should watch the movie!!4/5

Apollo 13

Good movie by Ron Howard. Based on real events its a very accurate depiction of the failed moon mission of the 70's. Tom hanks great as usual. While use of a lot of technical language makes the movie closer to reality avg viewer may find some of the jargon over the head. But the visual effects were good specially the scenes in space,docking of the spacecraft,release of the Lunar module.One who has interest in space programs must see this. I found the concepts used very engrossing. I wonder how they shot the scenes where actors float in zero gravity. Did they use real zero gravity simulators?
