Human Values - Its Types
Introduction
With the use of different things, human beings on our planet survive. For getting all this things, human beings need hard work. Nothing can be achieved for free. For getting something you have to pay price that is suitable for your demand. We give importance or value to different things on the basis of needs. This all needs depend on value system. Some of the essential needed for survival of human beings such as water for drinking, Food for consuming, Air for breathing, Clothes for escaping our naked body and house for living. All the above needs are basic needs. After fulfillment of these basic needs human being proceed to other kinds of needs such as social, security, and Moral needs. This need varies from one person to others. Inherent values of human beings decide these needs. Human beings acquire these inherent values by their nature as well as by their nurture. Each and every person is affected by family, society, country etc. Therefor they develops different bunch of values. With the help of these values you can easily decide the kind of lifestyle and priority related to person. Values keep much importance as it going to decide your personality as well as their growth in respect to society, family, nation, individual etc.
First: - Family Related Values
Human being’s one of the strongest species on the earth. Apart from it Human being is also consider as weakest species. The children of human being learn the art of learning after one year. Suppose that you left your child alone, it is possible that your child may not survive on this planet. For the better and safe growth of any child on this planet, it needs family support. Due to this reason human species support the family concept. Every family on our earth support their children till they become strong enough to fight against difficulties. Value related to family is raised by these family concepts. Family is a part of society. Without family the society cannot be defined. Therefore family is known as basic unit of our society. We are aware of the power of the family. With the help of this power we can easily control each and every members of our family. Each members belonging to family has defined its works and they work according to that. Every member performs different kind of work thus performing different functions. To support this statement I am going to give you example. Father is responsible for earning money for family as well as protects family. Father is considering as one of the head and respected member of our family. Mother performs various kind of function such as preparing food for other family members, look her children and keep their house clean. Children do not have any hard function to perform but respect parents and perform work in proper manner. Family maintains the values and tradition in better manner. Love and trust is two powerful weapons that maintain the bond of attraction as well as interest among family members in any family system. Children get all sorts of things from their parents. This love is free from any kind of grid. On the hand children accept all this contributions given by their parent and build their life for better future. A time come when children become parents at that time they are responsible for passing all this values to their children. Children have responsibility to support their parents in old days. With the help of this valuable trust and tradition the total family value system is maintain. Stronger family values decrease the individual member freedom. It may reduce self-values. Every responsible family member kept the family first as compare to individual. Therefore family is responsible for destroying all the feeling that may benefit the individual member of the family.
Second: - Individual values
It is the most powerful values among human being. Individual values means values related to self as compare to anything in this world. Every kind of animals as well as human being inherent value by naturally. Let’s us talk about animal. They like to bother themselves. They do not think about other animals. The mother animal is one of the exceptions among these animals. They like to take proper care to their children. Mother helps children till they become self-depended. In this modern era every person is on the way of being individualistic. They accept individualistic values. They keep their interest high and perform all possible activities to protect it. Individual freedom is related to Individualistic value. Every individual has right to take decision that is beneficial for them. In this modern era every born child accepts this individual value and wants every sort of thing for self. They want that every person help him to fulfill their own dreams. Suppose that a child demand something and he or she does not satisfied, he or she start crying.
Third: - Professional Related Values
Families are not only responsible for development of society. Origination is another factor needed for fulfill some of the basic requirements. These requirements are very important for proper development of Society. Any country government plays an important role in developing order in any society. The government is classified in various departments such as Police department, Revenue department, and Defense department. These departments are very important as it protect our country from external attack as well as keep our country united. Apart from government departments there are various private based organizations. These organizations are operated by private people. These organizations provide various kinds of good as well as services to our country. Every person associated with society need to earn livelihood by joining these organizations or departments. Every organization in our country performs special function related to our society. For this reason every organization fixes some sort of values that help the organization to motivate and unite members. For this way a person need to accept set of define values for his/her profession. Every person has different set of values. Values related to police officers are much different from any politician or Doctor. For this reason values related to one profession contradict the set of values related to other profession. To keep the profession united and deliver what your higher person want from your side, set of values is necessary.
Fourth: - Values related to Nation
Our world is divided into various countries. Each and every country is free and sovereign. In recent period many countries behave like members of family. With the rise of independence this is replace by various other values. China is also known as the “Manufacturing center (hub) of the world". India is known as "Outsourcing center (hub) of the world" because it provides various kinds of services to rest part of the world. Arab countries is larger producer of oil whereas United states of America is known for its Knowledge and The Information Technology. Every country is becoming expert in some work. For other requirement every country depends on other country. They provide what they have and get other requirement from other countries. Just like family each and every country start competing with other countries and complement with the various other countries. To make our country or nation stronger, we have to apply certain set of values. These set of values makes our bigger country as one family. These set of values cannot allow millions of people of our country to create different families in our nation. After Independence each and every country accepts some set of values. These values keep on modify with passes of time. Our unique tradition, ancient history and our experiences are shown by these set of values. Some countries values are older while some has new set of values. Countries like China and India has older set of values while recently created countries like United State of America, Israel, our neighbor country Pakistan and Australia have new set of values. Values related to country are codified with certain laws. These provide the feeling of equality and justice to every person of the country. Different countries has different requirement. Based on these requirement laws is passed. If any citizen of any country break values related to nation, they have been punished by our country. Every country of the world that has stronger set of national values declares stronger laws. These Laws help in developing the interest of the country as compare to interest of one person.
Fifth: - Moral Related Values
Any country needs to enforce legal values to citizen of particular country. These legal values are not enough to run the state's function in a proper manner. It is the duty of people to become ideal citizen of any country. People follow all laws and rule with full determination. This all things cannot take place because laws related to state is drafted by some powerful person or those people who is in contact with power people. These all powerful person holds all laws and power in their hand. Apart from this masses of people are not allowed to hold this power. This is now become a popular trend. This enforcement of power and law classified people in two groups. One group of people possesses extreme power whereas other group of people does not have sufficient power. These people are helpless and poor. In this modern era this kind of law injustice can be reduced with the help of moral values. This kind of moral values cannot be mention in any statute related books. You are getting moral values from your parents and you have to transfer these moral values to your children. This is travelling from one generation to another with the help of tradition. For example, Marriage in India is one of the pure custom or tradition that keep the rate of the divorce case in India low as compare to various western countries. Our society enforces moral related laws jointly. It is a dream of each and every person that he/she get love and respect from society. You need to apply moral values than legal laws enforcement. Moral values are much powerful and able to hold the person on the right path.
Sixth: - Spiritual related values
When Human beings on this earth follow values, it creates exclusivity. These values are not same for every society or even for every person. With the society changes, values changes. This different sort of values creates conflicts. Every person strongly follows its own set of values. These values are changes with change of time and environment. Thus, it is known as transient. There is difference between the values of the modern generation people as compare to values present in old generation. Apart from this something that cannot changes as we move from one generation to another generation. This value focuses the evolution of human beings. These types of eternal values cannot changes. People called such type of values are spiritual values that cannot die. We cannot know about its origin. Hence, it is known as values related to Spiritual. Thus, spiritual values are devoted to god and known as Divine values. The spiritual values is composed of Love, truth among others and Justice. It is the mentally of people to take these spiritual values without thinking about tradition, religion and culture. This universal spiritual value is easily learned by all people on this earth. People do not need to take any coaching classes for this spiritual value. Apart from this, spiritual values are kind of bonding that is able to unite all people on our earth. Spiritual values are known for its justice. The world wants justice from these spiritual values. Injustice is far away from these spiritual values. The presence of Love among various races, religion, nation people break all kinds of barriers. Any person on this earth cannot eliminate these spiritual values because this is universal values.
Value related Conflicts
Every person on this earth possesses more than one value. There are large numbers of values that govern on this earth. Apart from this every person has a dominating value. This might be different among all human being. This is due to various in families, Tradition, culture, country and presence of various religions. This value also varies from age to age. It is common that a child have different sort of value as compare to its older age values. Every person on our earth needs to earn livelihood. Due to this purpose he/she needs to do some kinds of work. At the place of work he/she needs to acquire professional values. A person gain national related values by sharing common values among citizens of particular country. In older age people perform spiritual work. During this work he/she develop spiritual related values. The importance of all these values in our society is remarkable. These values keep our society united. These values are also importance for proper functioning of our society. Life of human being cannot determine by science or any kinds of scriptures. Our life is Mystery. Our body is truth whereas our soul is referred as religion and science.
