Woman is changing - She is finding world a better place
I am a woman
Yes, you heard me right, I am a woman whom a man touched with different thoughts in his minds but the intention was same. Whatever way he touched me tenderly or held me tight but I can feel the scratches he gave me on my soul with his filthy touch. It was not a bus, a lane or a crowded bus where tried to molest me in open view but he did not spare me even in a temple, school or workplace. I was a toy in his eyes that the god had created for his joy and ugly designs. The man came down to the extent that he did not care about my feelings even if I was his married partner, the better half.
Woman in India
There are different faces for a woman in today’s India, one can categories her into –
1- The one who lives in villages, the face that is full of pain and suppression, they live to work because they have no option but to work and live. Their workshop runs for almost twenty hours a day to keep them alive, the fact is they do not live for themselves but for their family and the philosophy of their life is limited to work and mind you, they are open to any atrocity without knowing where to make a complaint.
2- The face No 2 belongs to modern urban women who know how to live with modern amenities, their fingers play with latest gadgets available in our country with glittering eyes having dreams of a bright future. They not only see big dreams but have means to fulfill them as well. They are fully secured as no one is allowed to read a single word of their life without their proper permission.
3- Third face belongs to the women who come from smaller towns and have big dreams for themselves. These women have their roots in smaller towns or villages but live in big cities to fulfill their dreams they have seen to change their lives have real struggle on their hands as they find themselves at a cross section where they find them in between traditions and modern life. However, they pull them out of the situation with a middle way, a GHUNGHAT on head and gadgets in hand to satisfy traditions and society both. These women know how to adjust with changing trends according to demand of the time.
We can do it
This group of women is perhaps the real brand of women of modern India today. This group of women has the ability to adjust with 3G with covered heads. This group of women has the tendency to say ‘let’s live the life our own way’ this group of women has the eagerness to move ahead with thousands of desires in their minds and dreams in their eyes with positive attitude yet keeping the traditions intact. They are not afraid of anything that may cross their way because they have decided to reach to their target set I their mind.
Woman is stronger today
Women today thinks in a different way, their attitude makes them think in a positive way to reach to their destination with lot of eagerness. Their thinking is positive and they feel they are beautiful from top to bottom and I am not talking about their physical beauty but the way they think. They have humanity along with seriousness in their thoughts, they have veil on their heads but eyes on Tajmahal because that is their aim. They are soft in behavior but strong in their actions because they do not want to deviate from their chosen path. They wish to push men down from every place, which was supposed to belong to men-only. They do not want to follow men any more because they wish to see themselves in that particular place.
They think that they have waited enough for someone to come forward to guide them to right and rightful place but no more. They have decided to achieve what belongs to them, as they found their shoulders strong enough, eyes filled with big dreams and enough courage to grab whatever they want. They are ready to raise their own sun, grow their own flowers, no more depending on men but deciding their own fate. The message is loud and clear ‘We love you but we shall not follow you any more rather we shall walk along with you. Their further message is ‘We shall no more lookdown or adjust with your manipulations; we want our own life where we shall decide for our own self’
I wonder if they would behave like men in near future
Maybe yes, who knows if they decide to act like men and follow ‘Tit for Tat’ formula to act if men do not change their ways in near future. The women is no more helpless who is waiting for a man to come forward for her selection but woman herself is ready to select his own relations, she decides about definition of love, limit of a man to allow him taking advantage up to or how to handle her affairs. Woman today knows her rights, duties and all about keeping reasonable balance in relations therefore no one should take her for granted anymore.
The story has just begun but going well
It was not long before when the women started their journey towards new age, the footsteps were small but the signs left were deep. Their steps taken in the direction of liberation brought about the right results, the ropes, which were keeping them bound, started to give way to make them free from age-old traditions of slavery, the beginning of the century dawned on them with new sun. The women found new colors in their lives, the woman today is pleasantly happy to see the changes she brought with her efforts. The world has accepted the women in her new role with open arms.
No one can deny that women have added responsibilities of reproduction and family at the same time they are taking decisions in their broader interest more powerfully, singing their songs of freedom more vociferously, the best part of the story is that women is happier than ever before and finding themselves in right places where they always wanted to be. The woman is ready to give this world more than she has been giving ever since but with a different point of view.
Conclusion
The demand of the hour is to stop treating woman like a sex-toy but treat her the way she best deserves, woman today is standing at par with man therefore you cannot have her forcefully. The woman is not a ‘body’ only that you can use and throw, you shall have to have her permission to get her and that too along with her soul because she is not ready to be used as a mere ‘body’ any more.
