As I am seeing you know more Aastha same as other also know.

Sex is interesting topic so if topic is interesting then people automatically search to get knowledge about it.
Thank you so much for your compliment sir, I will definitely do so, because teaching a subject like sex ed is not a matter of shame and too is not easy for one to teach,
You have asked "What other efforts can be done to stop it", so I have given the suggestion on How one should teach Sex Education.
Sir, You are forgetting, that India is a land of Kamasutra and Khajurao, and still you are taking as a clash with Indian culture.
Why these three capital words SEX effects more to our senses, then any other english word?
I think we should come out of it, and consider it as a usual word, making others aware too.
I am ready to teach, Now I ask you Sir, Do you have that guts to teach this subject?
Correct aastha.. you are saying obsolutely right and i am agree with your words, India is the land of Kamasutra and khaju raho.
Aastha ji,

Thanks for nice complement for me and ready to take responsibility of teaching about sex ed.

Let us see how would you teach them.

This is India not US so there no career on getting degree of sex education. only teaching post you can get.

so what is need of that education which did not have any good career so why people go to learn it.
I don't know why Santosh sir you are talking India less than other countries.

If there is no sex problem related doctor in this India then what will people do for their problems, so degree of sex doctor is also have importance. And you will feel the importance of degree on that day if you will get any problem related like this. Hope so you will not get.
Dear Aastha

Most pregnancies cases come from educated family so what is meaning of education.

US is not hot country like India that there no much more effect but India is hot country after good education its chances to increase pregnancies because people do things that they want because they do not want to implement and follow education.

So best way to decrease pregnancies is culture because culture has the power to decrease pregnancies.

Reason of pregnancies is western culture if people follow Indian culture then there good effect comes.
Santosh sir you are saying that Most pregnancies cases come from educated family so what is meaning of education.

But if a educated family not have the sex edcution then what will they do. Problems will occur.

Sex education is different from the other education. Santosh sir you need to set up your mind and thinking with present and future India. India will not go according to your thinking.
coming to AIDS patients, india is in second place.
Why this happened due to lack of proper information. Now we are discussing about media, internet but before 2000 very few people know what is internet,In villages now also they are not aware of it.In villages they will go to fields in the morning and they will come in the evenings and watch some films and sleep. They feel shy to watch that type of programs with family members. Now its better so many know about unsafe sex, before 4or5years no one know about sex,AIDS.

If parents teach to their children about sex education, what is safe sex,and body changes etc its good, then no need a degree and for that teacher.sex specialist doctors will be there if government allot them to teach 1 class per months its enough. They will never feel shy to teach this subject because their duty is to explain people about problems and diseases.

Hello Radhika. I am agree with your opinions and if government allow a teacher about sex education and one class per month for a school students and college students. Then its a very gud idea.
The results of a survey conducted by Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health and Neurological Sciences, Delhi, in the year 2003, might be an eye opener to school authorities where children themselves expressed the need for sex education.
Sex education seeks both to reduce the risks of potentially negative outcomes from sexual behavior like unwanted or unplanned pregnancies and infection with sexually transmitted diseases, and to enhance the quality of relationships. It is also about developing young people's ability to make decisions over their entire lifetime. Sex education that works, by which we mean that it is effective, is sex education that contributes to this overall aim. sex education is not currently mandatory in high school, and In my own opinion I think sex education should be a course that will be mandatory to all high school students/Teens.
Dear Friend whatever you written is right as per your point of view but I want one answer from question why only in India we feel this education is required.

I think other countries are not interested for this subject because they think its not a big matter and Govt. is able to handle all crime issues related to sex.

So to control crime there need some rule to followup strictly.

So there are people here habit is they learn but not implement.

and Sex is a matter and after education crime will increase.
Hello Santosh sir and it is also for every one who think that sex education not need in our country.

Please got his link and study about the sex education and staistics.

Sex education need
Hello everyone read this carefully. UNAIDS ( The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS ) estimates 5.7 million Indians could be HIV positive – one of the highest in the world . But six Indian States have banned sex education. Alarmingly, three of them – Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat – are amongst the states that have the highest number of reported AIDS cases in India.

So why we don't need sex edcuation?
We need this sex education and its the need for the good and secure future of youth.
Dear friends,
Here the discussion goes who to teach , how to teach rather than its importance in Indian situation.
I think medical students study about physiology and anatomy of our body. There they had given lectures, models and even live experiences in some matters. There neither teacher nor students feel shame to teach or to hear or to look. That is due to their maturity level. If the same was taught to an high school student like that really he/she will be too shy even to look to teacher's face.

So my opinion is that the content to be taught and method to be taught in each class is to be clearly defined before introducing the sex education. Also the parents should be given some instructions to talk about the problems that their children face during adolescence. Then through a teacher - parent discussion a solution may be put forward.Any how sex education is a must in our education system.
