I am not aware of any such confirmed info about Kejriwal asking for any security. On the contrary he has denied it straight away saying, his life line is very strong and god is his protector.

Now after the recent attack on AAP office in Ghaziabad , whether he likes it not Kejriwal is now being forced to have Z category security because the UP police don't want to take the blame if more such incidents take place in the future...

If we just depend on God or divine protection, we would need neither army nor police. Life is in hand of God and none else. Then we need not have courts as nobody can kill anyone unless God so wills. There should be no need to probe in disasters and accidents as this is all by will of God. Owing to such illogical faith, Kejriwal declined any security but the ground reality compelled him to accept Z type security.

Slowly, AAP is coming into terms with real world of politics.
