Rahul Gandhi as Defence Minister

Friends presently Congress Party members want Rahul Gandhi to play a very important role in the party. They expect him to be Defence Minister of India. However I just want to know from you if this category of ministry suits him. If no, which is suitable ministry for him? Here is the link-

    I just don't see why they are hellbent on making Rahul Gandhi either a PM or a minister of some sort!! He can never be trusted and least of all a very crucial ministry like Defense ministry which is important to safeguard national security. I don't think he can do anything good for our country as a Defence Minister!

    In this era, nobody thinks about the poor. Middle class families are becoming poor days after days. Ministers want to fulfill their own needs and wants.

    I think he is born to become prime minister of this country so no post lesser than that should be offered to him. I do not vote to this idea of defense minister.
