Thoughts of a common man but color blind Indian politicians would never learn a lesson because the own interests of these power (and money) hungry people stop them to act in favor of public.

What a Frenchman has understood so well, why can't our politicians understand this???

Kalyani,Thanks a lot for the link, have forwarded it to my family as well ! we Indians need a foreigner to tell us about our own country, earlier they came , ruled and also in a way united us and made us civilised, and then we know what happened after that.It was the classic case of giving diamond to a monkey !! Now we( meaning our rulers esp the congress men) need a foreigner to tell us what is wrong with us and how foolish and stupid we look in their eyes !!! shame on us !!!
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

True Usha! And Francois Gautier has also pointed out the reason, we have been colonized for a long time! But that is simply an excuse for us to not really look out for own good. I hardly know what to make of this strange contradiction, these congress people who dance to the tunes of a white lady are the ones who believe in keeping women meek and submissive and turn a blind eye to all looting that is going on in the name of governance! Totally shameful for us all!

I think we Indians go to any length to covet power and when someone has it we are ready to fall at their feet ! This is what is happening with Sonia Gandhi and her co-te-rie, the moment she is out of power and her party does badly, she will find things vastly different to what it is now...
