But one has to be totally blind not to differentiate between normal family of male husband and female wife with children on one hand and so called family consisting of male husband and male wife or female husband and female wife with children adopted either orphaned or donated by normal families.

True sir. Gays are concerned with the Natural phenomenon and begetting children. What all they are concerned with is Staying together like man and Wife.

And the law is concerned about if living together two males or two females is feasible or not.. The law is concerned about a long fight for the Gay Marriages. The law settled the issue and washed off it's hands. This is what I understood.

 

 

 

Normal is different to different people.In some families taking liquor by ladies is not concerned normal , a man doing so is normal , whereas a father or a uncle molesting a girl is kept a secret just so that the family name and honor remains intact...Ours is a nation of double standards , so we need not bother about these so called "normal" people.What is relevant is a few points

1, First of all Sexual preference is a very personal matter

2, Criminal activities are far more dangerous than gay or lesbian marriage rights and we see criminal tendencies rampant in our society.

3, Gay and Lesbian marriage once legalised will take its own course, as to who will be the father and who will take the role of mother or whether they are going to do away with any role definition is something they will decide for themselves...

As an example, let us see an Indian marriage. After the marriage, the husband and wife take the responsibility of solving their own family problems. Starting from children education, health etc. Parents of both the wife and husband will not interfere . In some cases in laws interference is vehemently refused too. Akin to this gay couple too make their adopted children (if they choose to adopt) know who's their mother and father.

It requires courage and a level of high maturity to take such pioneering steps like recognizing same sex marriages as legal. US has done it and as usual the world is hailing them. In India we lack courage to take bold steps in all areas and only do armchair discussions and pass comments left and right. WE believe that millions of miles away planets are responsible for our lives. In all same sex relationships there  usually is one passive and one active member and those who know them know who is what.

There are supporters of same sex marriage in India too. It's different thing that type of support is viewed as a sacrilege.

Because we lack courage to face the truth or we are not trained that way.

What I actually meant was - whether the gay marriages would be conventional like what a marriage between a man and woman would be, because obviously it will not be the same in some respects ..But emotions and maternal, paternal feelings are the same and why should they not be good parents ?
