Does marriage suit you? You must consider this before you choose to marry. We think many times before we buy anything- vegetable to house. But we seldom give marriage a thought. If you are self centered, marriage is not for you.

Marriage suited me. Because I'm not self -centered. And ensured that my partner is also not self-centered.

The best idea is that two self-centered people can marry each other. There will be no problem in married life. Both will argue less as they are living in their own world. :silly: :blink: :woohoo:

Most Indian men are self centered and Indian women are taught to cater to their mens whims and fancies - A good old fashioned idea of a successful marriage depended on how much a woman is ready to put up with her man's worst qualities !!!!!
Times have of course changed although majority of Indian men havent...Personally speaking marriage has been fine with me since what is far more important is compatibility and understanding, even when one of us does get self centered once in a while, after all we are human and have some of the human failings...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I would say that many times men pretend to be self - centered. They are actually tired of dealing with people outside. They avoid domestic affairs. They want their wife to become strong enough to carry out all domestic affairs quietly.

I am not self centered but marriage still does not suit me :lol: as I was carefree before marriage but after having kids I think my hands have been cut now I have lots of responsibilities which I am taking care of nicely and pray God to give strength to keep on doing this. :)

I am satisfied with my marriage life. I have one small family and lovely kids. I am not self centered person. I am caring person.

If you opt for marriage because everybody is marrying without knowing whether you need or not, it will prove disastrous. Marirage is not binding or mandatory. Don't eat if you are not hungry.
